Magnum Security: Blood Donation Drive

Magnum Security: Blood Donation Drive

  • 14 Jun 2022

Ahead of World Blood Donor Day, Magnum Security organized a Blood Donation Drive.

Magnum Security in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority, and Dubai Blood Donation Centre hosted a Blood Donation Drive on 12th June 2022 at the Latifa Hospital, Dubai.

This campaign was developed in response to the pressing demand for more blood in the UAE and to ensure patients facing cancer, sickle cell disease, undergoing surgeries, and patients with blood diseases like Thalassemia, which demand regular blood transfusions all have access to life-saving blood products without any delay.

Magnum Security team turned up in good numbers to donate blood and demonstrate their support for the cause with their selfless volunteering, in line with the company's corporate social responsibility and commitment to contribute to the community.

"The blood donation drive is part of our efforts to consolidate our corporate social responsibility values. This initiative reflects our team's volunteerism to fulfill an essential need that benefits the local community." said Jimmy Singh, Managing Director. "Donating blood should be a continuous practice since it provides numerous health benefits for the donor "but most significantly, it is a selfless step that everyone can take to strengthen their communities, support local health systems and save lives. Thus, we want to provide our employees with opportunities to participate in endeavors that benefit our community." Jimmy added.

Blood donation is a humanitarian act that is beyond comparison as it contributes to only saving lives but also to enhancing solidarity within communities.

We, at Magnum Security, recognize voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving contributions. Through this initiative, we also seek to raise awareness of the importance of regular blood donations and to ensure the quality, safety, and availability of blood and blood products for patients in need.

Our Team shared that they had a great experience and are keen to make more positive contributions as we strive to become more inclusive and hope to inspire the community to give back and help save lives.
